Propose a Special Issue
Thematic curation to foster innovative and multidisciplinary research
Document Version: 1.0 | Date: 01/06/2026
Welcome to the Special Issues proposal section of Periódico Tchê Química. Here, researchers and experts can submit ideas for thematic collections that gather articles on emerging topics in chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, and related fields.
Inspired by international scientific publishing practices, these issues are coordinated by Guest Editors and aim to amplify research impact, promote global collaborations, and increase the visibility of published work.
Benefits of Special Issues
- Greater visibility: Articles in thematic collections receive more downloads and citations.
- Scientific collaboration: Connects researchers across institutions and countries.
- Flexibility: Accepts original research, reviews, short communications, and more.
- Open Access: Published under the Platinum OA model (no fees for authors or readers), or, exceptionally, Gold OA with APCs—always with waiver options available.
Example topics: “Sustainable Chemistry and Renewable Energies”, “Nanomaterials for Biomedical Applications”, “AI in Chemical Modeling”.
